Equine Programs

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning are unmounted programs that can benefit children that have been through trauma.  Horses have the unique ability to reflect back on how we are feeling. These programs can be implemented with an individual or in a group setting, utilizing the expertise of a licensed mental health counselor as well as an equine specialist.  Healing Kids’ Hearts sponsors children and teens who have been through foster care or adoption in the Palm Beach and Broward county areas of South Florida.  This program can run between 10 to 30 weeks depending on availability and needs of those involved.
